Personal Identity have been in business for almost a quarter of a century, making us one of the longest established automotive aftermarket companies in the UK.
Initially specializing in the supply & installation of aftermarket products including body kits, alloy wheels, suspension upgrades and in-car entertainment to the franchised dealer network, automotive trade and general public our reputation soon grew as one of the few companies able offer a one-stop solution to transform and upgrade both the appearance & functionality of the customer's car - indeed to give it its own "personal identity".
In 1990 we formed an alliance with one of the world's leading lowered sports spring manufacturers and after extensive market research our Lowered Sports Spring range was introduced - the first of our products to carry the "Pi" brand name. Right from the start we realized the importance of developing a robust distribution network enabling our products to reach the largest possible market and therefore concentrated on offering our customers the best combination of price, quality & availability available in the industry – aims that we work hard to meet to this day.
Having established our Lowering Spring range we soon realized the potential to supply other quality products, and this was next achieved through our association with one of Europe’s leading body styling manufacturers. Initially specializing in the production of a wide range of rear spoilers both to OE specification and also more radical styles these are supplied to an every increasing customer base. More recently based on the success of our rear spoilers the range of products has expanded enabling us to offer a full range of body styling parts for a wide selection of vehicles – everything from a replacement sports style grille right up to a complete body kit enabling everything from a modest enhancement to a full car conversion to be catered for.

Returning to our long established presence in the sports suspension market our next development saw the introduction of a full range of sports shock absorbers. These European sourced quality shocks feature shortened bodies, sports valving and nitrogen gas making them the ideal partner to our Lowering Springs. Available for almost all popular cars these shock absorbers are available individually or teamed with our lowering springs as a Pi Full Suspension Kit. Fully utilizing our market leading spring range and the capacity of our shock absorbers, Pi full suspension kits are available for over 350 individual applications with a choice of “mild” or “wild” lowering for many of the most iconic vehicles offering the perfect choice for each customer’s car & driving style.
Remaining on the suspension theme, and catering for the customer who requires the ultimate in style and performance we have more recently introduced the Pi Coil-Over Suspension Kit range. These quality kits allow for easily adjustable ride height reductions from 30mm-70mm enabling the change from near standard to race car looks as required. Pi Coil-Over struts feature motorsport standard internal components for performance & reliability, and 2.5” uprated chrome silicon springs allowing the use of larger wheels than is possible with standard suspension set ups. As with all our ranges delevopment & expansion is ongoing with our Coil-Over range already exceeding 150 applications.
The most recent addition to our product range, and the perfect compliment to our Suspension & Styling ranges, we are UK distributors for the Devil Performance Exhaust range. As one of the world’s leading performance exhaust manufacturers this French based company have a proud motor sport heritage spanning 40 years. This accumulated knowledge has been used to develop a full range of products for the fast road enthusiast who requires the essential combination of performance, style, value & durability. All exhausts are produced from stainless steel for long life and anti-corrosion performance, and the range features sports manifolds, mid pipes, back boxes and tail pipes all available as separate components or as full systems. A Devil exhaust solution is available for many popular makes & models, with many more exciting developments planned for the future.
